Tournament OS Help

Support

Help with Tournament OS Android, optional V2 cloud sharing, public tournament pages and umpire access.

V2 cloud features are optional. Tournament OS remains local-first for core tournament management. A Tournament OS account is used when an organizer chooses cloud sharing or when an invited umpire needs secure browser access.

What Tournament OS supports

Tournament OS supports badminton tournament setup, teams, match scheduling, score entry, standings, knockout progression and tournament completion. V2 also supports optional cloud tournament sharing, read-only public spectator pages and authenticated umpire score entry.

Common questions

Where is my tournament data stored?

Core tournament data is local-first and may be stored on the organizer's Android device. If the organizer turns on cloud sharing, the tournament information needed for public viewing and umpire access is also stored in Tournament OS's cloud service.

Do I need an account?

No account is required for local-only tournament use. An account is required for cloud sharing and authenticated umpire access.

Can spectators follow my event online?

Yes. When an organizer publishes a tournament, Tournament OS provides a read-only public spectator page that can show current tournament state, live and completed matches, schedule order, standings and knockout progression. Spectators do not need to sign in.

How does umpire access work?

An organizer can send an umpire a unique invitation. The umpire authenticates, accepts access and can submit score updates for the shared tournament. Umpire submissions do not directly change authoritative tournament state; Tournament OS validates and applies accepted score commands through the deterministic tournament engine.

How do I delete my cloud account?

Use the public Tournament OS account-deletion page to request deletion of your cloud account and associated cloud data. The page works without login.

Report a problem

When reporting a problem, include the Tournament OS version, your Android phone or browser, what you were trying to do, and the steps that led to the problem. For sharing or umpire issues, include the tournament name but do not send passwords, invite tokens or other authentication secrets.
