Delete your Tournament OS account

How to delete your Tournament OS sharing account and associated cloud data.

Tournament OS · KRPA Designs LLC
This page is public and can be used without signing in. It applies to the optional Tournament OS cloud account used for tournament sharing, public tournament pages and umpire access. Local tournament data stored on an Android device is separate from the cloud account.

Delete your account in the app

If you can sign in to Tournament OS, open the Cloud account screen and choose Delete account. Tournament OS asks for confirmation and then sends an authenticated account-deletion request to the Tournament OS cloud service.

Deleting the cloud account does not delete tournaments stored locally on that Android device.

Request account deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app deletion control, you can request deletion from this public page without signing in.

  1. Send an email from the email address associated with your Tournament OS account.
  2. Send it to admin@krpadesigns.com.
  3. Use the subject “Delete Tournament OS account”.
  4. State that you want your Tournament OS sharing account and associated cloud data deleted.

KRPA Designs LLC may ask you to verify that you control the account email before completing the request. Never send your password, authentication token or umpire invitation token.

What is deleted

When the Tournament OS cloud authentication account is deleted, the current database relationships remove account-owned and directly account-linked cloud records.

Deleting an organizer account therefore removes the cloud-sharing records and public tournament snapshots for tournaments owned by that account.

If you were an umpire in another organizer's tournament

Deleting an umpire account does not delete a tournament owned by another organizer.

The current Tournament OS database removes that user's tournament membership and score-command records that directly identify the user as the submitting account. Where retained records in the other organizer's tournament contain supported direct user-ID references, those references are cleared. Scores and tournament results that were already validated and applied may remain as part of the tournament owner's event history.

Separate umpire invitation email. An umpire invitation can contain an invitee email address stored separately from the Tournament OS authentication account. The current automatic account-deletion cascade does not automatically remove that separate email when the invitation belongs to another organizer. To request removal of that invitation email, contact admin@krpadesigns.com.

Local tournaments on your Android device

Deleting your Tournament OS cloud account does not automatically delete tournament data stored locally on your Android device. Tournament OS stores core tournament data locally using SQLite.

Draft tournaments can be removed using the Tournament OS Delete draft control. To remove all locally stored Tournament OS application data, you can use Android's application-storage/data controls or uninstall the application, subject to Android backup and restore behavior.

What account deletion changes

After deletion, the deleted account can no longer be used to sign in or access its account-associated Tournament OS cloud-sharing services. Cloud tournaments and public tournament snapshots owned by that account are removed through the account-deletion relationships described above.

Local-only tournament information remains separate unless you remove it from the Android device.

Retention

Tournament OS does not currently define a fixed product-level retention period for infrastructure, security or backup logs. Infrastructure providers may retain operational or security records according to their own service-retention practices and applicable legal requirements.

For tournaments owned by another organizer, validated tournament results and tournament history that no longer directly identify the deleted account may remain while that organizer retains the tournament.

The separate umpire-invitation email described above may remain with another organizer's invitation record until it is removed, the invitation or tournament is deleted, or KRPA Designs LLC processes a verified removal request. Tournament OS does not currently define a separate fixed retention period for that field.

Information previously copied, captured or independently shared from a public tournament cannot be recalled from another person's device or an independent service through Tournament OS account deletion.
